The team will depart Atlanta on Saturday, May 16 and travel to Barranquilla, Colombia. The team will be hosted by families of Iglesia Camino, Verdad, and Vida in Barranquilla. Medical clinics will be held in impoverished neighborhoods of Barranquilla and surrounding communities where there are many needs for primary medical care. Many of the poor class in Colombia do not receive adequate medical care because they cannot afford it. Nurses, doctors, pharmacists, dentists, optometrists, and non-medical personnel are needed as the team will minister to physical and spiritual needs in and around Barranquilla, one of the largest cities in Colombia. This will be VIMM’s first trip to Colombia.
