The team will arrive in Santo Domingo on Saturday where we will spend a night. On Sunday we will travel west (3-4 hrs.) to San Juan de la Maguana, where we will stay in a guesthouse with dormitory style lodging, which accommodates Christian volunteer teams. The guesthouse is accustomed to caring for Americans and will provide linens, towels, and a laundry service. Meals will also be served at the guesthouse. We will pack medicines on Sunday afternoon and night. An established medical clinic is also located there on the guesthouse premises. Each day the team will travel to various villages in a poor area and hold medical clinic. There are preliminary plans for Vacation Bible School for the children. We will return to Santo Domingo on Friday for sightseeing and then fly home on Saturday.
